Rachel Proodian began dancing at the age of 3 where she attended North Shore Dance Academy’s first studio in Peabody. She started out in the recreation program and became a member of the competitive team, in which she attended numerous competitions and conventions. Rachel danced for a total of 15 years at NSDA until she graduated high school in 2007. Rachel went on to attend the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2011. Rachel has been employed as a Registered Nurse since then and currently works at Beverly Hospital on a cardiac floor.
Miss Rachel joined the North Shore Dance Academy faculty in 2017. She teaches Tap and Ballet to the younger students of the recreational program. Miss Rachel finds so much joy in having the opportunity to share her love of dance with the students and helping them grow as dancers. She looks forward to another wonderful year and cannot wait to see all the amazing talent North Shore Dance Academy has to offer.
