Where technique is learned and friends are made

Sarah Vose

Sarah began her dance education at North Shore Dance Academy in 1983 (before it even went by that name) when she was three years old! She fell in love with dance when she took her first jazz class from Miss Tammy at the age of six, always looking up to the “older girls” Miss Dennee and Miss Julie, and continued her training throughout her high school and college years, mentored by Miss Stacie.
After teaching at NSDA for several years, she decided to pursue her dream of dancing professionally, and made the move to Las Vegas.
There, she performed in a variety of shows on the Las Vegas Strip, including Show in the Sky at the Rio, V Variety at Planet Hollywood, and spent five years as Dance Captain, Magician’s assistant, and principal dancer in a prominent magic show at The Riviera and Tropicana. She is proud to have served as Dance Captain and assistant choreographer to Jonnis Tannis of SYTYCD as an integral member of the Lost Vegas Crew, and has also had the pleasure to work with a plethora of talented and notable choreographers such as multi-Emmy nominated Christopher Scott of SYTYCD and “In the Heights”, and Katy Tate of World of Dance.
Sarah and her husband, Dan always knew that when they had children of their own they wanted to raise them around their family, and now that their son Teddy is three years old, there was no better time to return to their roots. She is so excited to be a part of the NSDA family, and to continue passing on her love and knowledge of dance!
